We decided to go with flame hawks. They are happy in the qt. They are definitely the most vibrant red fish I have ever seen in person. Haven't seen much of their personalities yet but they eat a lot.
Wondering if the flame hawks are as aggressive as spotted kawks? I have a spotted hawk with my pair of clowns and I had to put a divider in the tank to stop the hawk hurting my clowns:-( he had bitten their tails and lots of scales were missing, the clowns have made a full recovery. With my new tank nearly ready 60gal do you think he will be less aggressive with more fish in the tank and won't pay much attention to the fish.if not he will live in my sump witch is 30gals. Any suggestions please
