Wild and Maricultured SPS Reefers Thread

Ros_co nice progression pics. I love seeing ppl take chances on a brown merri piece and it turn into beautiful specimens like yours. I almost took that leap of faith myself today but passed when I spotted this guy. Its a merricultured piece has some coloring to do but its white/cream branches with blue axial coralites and red polyps! The pic is quite grainy as its an iphone pic but you can get the idea. I will get one with the digital tmw but just want to share this here as eell as my tank thread because I am so excited about it!

Bump, awesome thread. I'm just now getting into Wild/Maricultured, I'll take some pics of my pieces shortly. I have a shipment coming in tomorrow as well with hopefully some nice pieces.

I prefer wild acros.
They use to come with a trapezia crab and AEFW free, although it is quite hard to keep their colours.

Thanks,
I'll try and get some others up,my wife has better luck getting decent shots of stuff.
Most everything has colored up well, waiting for a few to get the rest of the way.

Most colored up real nice, suck at getting good pics.
Quick vids, back to normal stocking level after 8 months of adding.

DD's Acropora sarmentosa. I have had it for about 3 months, it's growing well. I try not to buy wild but it caught my eye. Under AI Hydra.

Stumbled across this thread. Awesome pieces. My favorites have always been WC/MC colonies, especially the "discolored" ones. I enjoy seeing what I bought colors up to be.
As far as quarantining, what's everyone's procedure? I'm guessing in a separate tank? What about lighting and filtration, water changes, etc?

I love wild Aussie acros. You honestly never know what they will turn into. This one by far the craziest I've found . From this tiny hairy frag
