That was taken on unpacking and i bought it 2 weeks later mate with no color and beginning to STN. I've been worrying it was green lol. It's just started getting some color back now. Here's a bit of it i put down low on the raft rock and the color atm is more aqua than blue. I might put a bit in more light and see what happens.

Some nice stuff. I notice the absence of many frags, wish we had that luck here.
I picked up some Mari stuff this week from a few places. I'll see how it looks when lights come back on .Hopefuly a few will look good.

Holy camoli, there is some super nice stock there!!
And that red carpet anemone... I'd sell a daughter... Actually, wife for one of those!!
Very nice!!!
Ok here's a mail order A. Desalwi that comes from Darryl's tank..

Now, if you know Darryl's ridiculously nice coral collection, you'll know that mine has faded out..
I'm playing with light intensity and feeding more to see about bringing back the colour.

I've admired Darryl's collection for ages mate, that's a beauty even sulking, is that other acro a red dragon or similar - i love the wild thicket like growing acros. Those washed out mari's are what a lot of the wild stuff looks like after shipping and i'd take that over darker browner corals any day. I'm sure they'll color back up once you get the lighting and nutrition sorted.
Those pics from your last tank are just amazing Matt, especially like the second and last pics - look forward to seeing your new stuff in a couple of months

Pics of your new corals when fresh in your tank would be good Volcano, most stuff looks pretty ordinary when you buy it just from stress and bugger all light for a number of days until you get them back on track in your tank. As long as i see PE the first or second night i know the acro is fine, if it takes a week i'm starting to get nervous lol.

Thought this end shot was cool for the reflection on the front glass - i have 2 yellow tangs now...........:p

Once again your acros look stunning. By the way I cut you. Tiny frag of the true Oregon tort now I will have to find a way to ship it. It should be ready on about a month.

I think they both started out huge, got broken down into large pieces. LFS said guy brought them in wrapped in a towel. :)

Holy cow Volcano those are some seriously nice acros mate  I think you'll see a spike in alk draw as soon as those are all settled in lol.

John,
They didn't look that nice when I got them, :)

I got these over the course of the last few weeks or more. Some I waited to look decent to post.I did get a few Fri. though.
I can usually get 3 of the small ones in 1 dip bucket at a time. I use 2 dip buckets, so I can do 6 at once, if need be.
