Wild Onyx Clownfish. Take 3

You have a spawning pair of pipefish? That's cool. Post some pics or a video if you have some.
I have actually two spawning pairs of Bluestripe Pipefish, but the larger and more productive pair is in my 40B where it is trickier to collect the larva or catch the male. The younger and so far smaller pair is in one of my QTs. They are the ones I will try first.
I have a larva catcher that should work perfectly in a 5 to 10 gallon tank. The only other thing I need is a special larva tank. I'm in the process of designing a small planktonkreisel tank.

Eggs are 7 days old. Probable hatching tonight. I'm going to give it a try.

First clutches are often smaller and more loosely. Clutch sizes usually depend more on food quantity than quality. Food quality is more important to egg and larva quality.

I've always fed them heavily so they must be finding their groove just now for bigger clutches :-)

Here's a 4 min video of the eggs

The eggs look like they're are ready to hatch and the female clown is ready to lay again. I've been traveling a lot and haven't had a chance to culture rotifers.

The eggs just hatched. It took about 10 days. That's how long I will wait going forward. Last time I took the eggs out after 7 days. It was early. This is what they looked like about 6 hours ago.
