will 2 150w halides be enough?

Considering going from t5 to halides. I have the opportunity to get 2 150w jbj viper clip on halides for a very good price. Any idea if on a 36 x 18 x 18 tank I'd get enough coverage to keep sps top to bottom as I am now? I'm not worried about the length of the tank, but more the depth. I'd run either a 14k or 20k bulb. Corals and my clam are doing great under the t5's but the color of the coral isn't what I want it to be.

I had 2 x 150 watt HQI plus 4 x 39watt HOs on a 36 x 18 x 18 tank and just upgraded to 250 watt HQI s.......

I run 2 150's on my 65 and it is good. Depends on what sps you have on the bottom.

Nothing to demanding. Mostly my monti's and a couple acro's

I think those viper reflectors suck too.... you gotta take that into consideration.

Yeah that was another worry. I'm pretty sure they're awful. I may just stick with my t5's

In isolation, a pair of 150W HQI with a solid bulb is more than enough. The ballast, reflector, bad bulb, etc. can ruin a sold setup, though.
