will anything happen if i remove the brain my maroon pair host in?

my open brain, which my pair of maroons host, has to come out, since my PT is nipping it, and i don't want it to die. i am taking out within next day or so, but will not replace brain w/ RBTA for about 2 weeks. i have to wait until i have my flow perfect before adding RBTA. i have another TUNZE on order and possibly another will be ordered. i don't want to add RBTA and then start messing w/ flow causing i to move. will the maroons be fine if they have nothing to host in for alittle while? they get along great now and totally mind their business, but they also love the brain which is about to go...

They do not have to have a host to be fine, but do be careful removing it as Maroons can aggressively defend their homes!

Do it at night when they are sleeping, that way they won't be able to react as quickly.

And wear a ski mask...that will definitely throw them off, they won't know it was you.

They will never, ever forgive the ring or bracelet you were wearing when you did it. My percs would go for my ring for years after I took an anemone away from them, and those little beggars would draw blood. Maroons get much, much bigger, and have worse teeth.

well i took brain out alittle while ago, and just got back from ER. the female took off 3 of my fingers....she was pis*ed!
they are still hanging around spot where brain was, which they had a hole or nest burrowed out underneath. she's still keeping it clear, i set up a few small rubble pieces around and above to make them feel safer at night...
i'm getting my next TUNZE 6000 tomorrow or saturday. then RBTA sometime next week. we'll see what mr PT dic* thinks about that...

If they had been spawning, there is a good chance that the spawning will stop for a while.

It happened to me, when I did something similar to my GSM pair, about a month later they were back on schedule. Of course I sold them shortly after that.
