This afternoon I went to pict up a carpet anemone. I don't know much about carpets, So when I got there to pict it up from a fellow reefer, I checked it out. The mouth was swollen, and the water was cloudy, I was told that was normal, after being shipped. So I started on the hour and a half drive home. I got home a little after six and started the aclamaition. When I opened the bag, It stunk real bad. I noticed when I poured it into the bucket to start acclation, this clear gooy stuff with what looked like chunck of meat was in the. The mouth was open very wide. after aclamating for a little while the mouth started closeing up some. then open then close. Is this poor thing a goner, or is there something I can do to save it. I would be willing to try to save it. But I don't want to put my tank at risk either? Want should I do?:worried:
