Will Ritteri anenomes cross over sand?

I'm trying to isolate my ritteri anenome from the rest of my corals. I've heard if you create a rock "island" separated from all your other live rock, then the anenome won't cross the sand? Before I go and redo all my aqauscaping, has anyone had any success with this? Thanks.

If it is happy where it is at, it won't go down the side of the rock island or cross the sand. If it is really unhappy where it is at, it can just inflate the foot and sail away into the PH or intake overflow.

Thanks for the replies. I've had my anenome for almost a year and it really hasn't moved from it's original location so I guess it's happy. However, it split and I want to move the second one to another tank with some corals. My fear is that the anenome may sting my other corals while it tries to find a suitable place. No I have second thoughts.
