Wintery Mix

Hope my USB works + I got the icecap battr back up for my vortechs will see how good they work if we get a big ice storm.
 
Last time we lost power I moved water by hand every 5 min for over six hours B4 It came back on! Came out OK but what a pain that was...

I guess I better go shake the gas can (it's full) and pet my generator hehe

Now, keep in mind the genny isn;t for the fish..its so my wife can watch sattelite TV LOL (j/k)

People are losing their minds here with the thought of up to a foot of snow. Maybe the boss will call-off work so we can go sledding!

The generator talk worries me a bit--main building has back-up power, but we're still arranging for stand-by power for the new building (that we've already filled with fish!) :rolleyes: Might have to drag out the pull-start and run some cords...

Get ready its heading your way rain sleet freezing rain and oh yes snow I work for Missouri DOT in SW MO just got off a 14hr shift messing with this crap it is tracking south and east so get ready be safe and stay warm LOL

I'm from Rockford, IL, outside Chicago. I lived in cold weather my entire life. I moved to Florida a few years back and moved up to this place for my job a year ago. I dislike TN just as much now as I did a year ago. I hate cold weather, and I like nothing about this state. But such is life.

Because I love that city. I grew up in Rockford, lived in Wisconsin for a few years (Milwaukee area), but Tampa feels like home.

I think the only other place I like as much is the pacific northwest - Portland, Oregon - I really, really like that area as well. It boggles me why you would leave Seattle to live here.
 
I predict its gonna be bad at this point. Probably Ice to snap the power lines just because my Tank was looking really crystal clear last night. This means we are gonna have power outages & broken power lines. Murphey hates me & wants me to take my tank down. :(

Roads allready bad in north Nashville good its just snow not ice. Be safe or stay home and work on the tanks:^) ;) :)
 
Snowing in Mount Juliet for about two hours now with maybe 1/4" accumulation. I am about to head to the grocery store... not because of wuss panic, just regular weekly trip! Us Northerners laugh at the weather. :)
