Well we have at least 3" already In S H and my daughter In Columbia has over 4" down there. They are talking In Feet now! This Is Crazy But as long as It stays Snow who cares It's the Ice I worry about.

well, i made it back form alabama safely. Freezing rain and sleet from decatur to the Tn border. wipers, antennas were all iced up and about to break. I had to stop a few times to de ice them. TN roads were good till I got hime at 11:30. except on 65 between the 40 and 50 mile markers. white out thru there. one rolled over vehicle just south of the columbia exit 46.
Got my box from BRS though. repacked the nuclear resin and now have a new aqualifter for my denitrator coil! YAY!!!!!! havent had it running in a few months. you can tell it too. how to let it re-cycle and it will be draining the nitrates again.
Edit: OH yea, we ahve between 1 and 2" here already. hope it snows neck deep to a giraffe!

You just may get your wish this time! It's still coming down like I've never seen around here. Pileing up quickly and It looks nice as long as I don't have to go out In It except to get the mail. Anyone got sled?

I just got home a little while ago. About 2" here, maybe a little less. 24 was starting to get a little bit bad. Very slushy with a lot of cars off of the road... in fact, in Brentwood, there was a Cadillac on top of a tree! Not IN the top of a tree, but it had side-swiped a small tree and only one wheel of the Cadillac was on the ground... that genius had to have been doing 50... but I digress.
When I got the email that MTSU was shutting down, I knew this was a bit more than usual! MTSU has only shut down one other time in the 5 years that I've been attending (no jokes, that's for a bachelors and masters degree, thank you very much
).
Now that I'm home, bring it on! Its Friday and I've got nothing but time.
So long as the power doesn't go out, anyway... heh.

It already is, in some areas. Traffic was DEAD when I left downtown @ 2:00, scooted all the way home to Clarksville, and though it's coming down fairly hard up here now, there's only about 1/4" of inch on the ground up this way right now.

Still going here in franklin. Although, I must say, it hasn't officially snowed if you can still see the tips of dead grass beneath it.
Good news is I got off work at 11:30 today. then it took me an hour to make a 20 min ride home because two semi trucks collided on my normal route home.

Awesome on the Caddy. People are so stupid. On my way home on 65 some idiot passed me doing about 50-60 - I was thinking to myself, I'll bet he ends up in a ditch. A little ways up the road I see him start to slide and he slid to the right down into the ditch and t-bones a tree :lol: A bit before that a red explorer started sliding on the other side of 65 and ended up going down into the grass, kept sliding and spun around and ended on my side of the interstate - lucky I changed lanes when I saw them sliding through the grass and I didn't get hit by them. Luckily people must have actually seen them sliding as nobody hit the explorer, that could have been a bad accident!

I saw a hummer driving the wrong way down a *sidewalk*. A two lane road turned into a one lane because people didn't want to wait.
Nashville gets a big clap on the back for snow driving. JUST MAKE IT THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN!

It's like Bumper Cars out there, Many left In the ditches that I saw and I almost lost It a few times just going Out to Hwy 31 to Meet Mike to lead him back to my house. It's pretty deep for around here and still coming down but now It's like little Ice balls that sting your face. Must have at least 4-5" by me In S H Looks more like Utah than Tn!
