Worm's 180 build

Nice fix with your sump:) What GFO and Carbon reactors are those? Are you happy with them.....do they work well?

BRS.. yea very happy.. I have it set for individual control. So I can control it easily.

No problems at all. Just once not tightening it all the way.

So I am doing a three day of lights out. In the middle of day two right now.

I turned on the light in the room and was looking for my two tangs... Thinking they jumped ship. I found them.

It is in the DT... Against the glass... As acclimation So I can raise and lower as needed.

Stumble upon this build, have some fun in this Friday afternoon reading it. You certainly appear more "mature"(lol) in the video as in your avatar. Looks like you are also a dsb guy like me. I upgraded to 200g 16 months ago. the dsb has been serving me well with little maintenance.

Thanks!!

Do not get me wrong I do like to have fun too, but being born in the 70's has it's benifits, jut no AARP yet.

I like the DSB. My 120 had about 4" and the 180 has 5-6" in places. The micro-life has populated very well and has done a good job at keeping the sand clean. Along with the snails I do not have problems with the sand bed.

Even though I am using oolite and standard grade I do not have the sandstorms that others report.

I have been video documenting this build out pretty well and have enjoyed being able myself to look back and see how I did something.

Hopefully later this year I will be bringing the 120 back on line and piping it into the 180 to make at least a 300+ system. My boys tell me I should have just got the 500 and been done with it. Granted then I would have needed two 120's just for a sump.

I recently added three radion's to the DT and I am going to put my ecotoic panaoramas on the 120.

I live a couple hours from there but I've never been. Once I get moved to my new house and have a tank up and running I'm really looking forward to a road trip there and a hefty shopping spree.
