Have you noticed a reduction of the hair algae in the display now? I know you were having a battle.

I like your last few sets of pictures. I'm not overly familiar with the Sony DSLR's but it sure seems to take some nice pictures for you.

I have the same amount every 7 days. I have ZERO gha in the DT right now. I have a green film algae on the back wall right now. I think it is from dosing the reef energy. I might take a week or more off it.

I have heard others talk about other algae pop up when dosing with it. I have been busy with the kids lately and only have a few minutes a day to surf the forums, between this and that. In a week I will be back to full strength posting pictures.

I had to go to NC for a weekend.. so I did not clean out the ATS... you should have seen it.. I think I took pictures.. I will go look. 2 weeks of growth were a bit much, espc sucking up the reef energy.

That camera is 24 megapixel 6000x4000. It takes some KICK pictures if you ask me, but I am just a bystandard. The ones I upload in my smugmug, are both good and bad pictures. So some in there show the bad focus and all.

The animated ones that I put up are low quality stitched versions of it.

Yeah I feel a combination of Reef Energy, Reef Colors and Moorish Idol feeding caused my outbreak. I stopped Reef Energy for 2 weeks and colors for Reef Colors for one week. I'm back dosing at 50%.

The guides for both say overdosing can cause unwanted algae outbreaks. Solution is large water change and reduced dosing.

Hopefully I'll have as much luck as your ATS. It's impressive results.

I use an Axis 214 network camera for my live web cam, a JVC digital video camera for video (youtube), and the sony just for static pictures (here and smugmug).

Yea I am stopping the dosing for a bit, I do not need this. Water change will be prob Thursday or Friday, have to warm it up, already made.
