They have very limited DOF, and I would like to know how to increase that. I took these with a Nikon D50 w/ 18-200mm lens, and a +1, +2, and +4 macro filters one on top of the other. f stop at 3.5.

Any ideas as to what I can do?

I'm pretty sure your f stop at 3.5 is causing all the DOF. Try raising it a little higher.

There is another RC member who is a member of my local club who got me to buy these things, and he was taking great pics, and being a freshmen in HS, I don't have the $$$ to buy a lens.

I am going to try raising my f stop. -thanks for the tip lvschiavo

If you crop the shots we at least wont see the distorted edges. This will probably help the overall pic. I mean, in the centre it looks pretty good.

Maybe a little dark though.

Thats something I am going to do. Is not focus in, raise the f stop and crop. I think that will make some much nicer photos.
