would you recommend a titan trigger

i have a 200 gallon predador fish only tank with 300 lbs of live rock with a 400 wet dry sump and a red sea wave maker . we have a porcipine puffer 2 damsels naso tang sailfin tang sohal tang yelow tang koran angel panther grouper picasso trigger clown trigger a goat fish french angel

i'd say hell no. are you nuts? that's a big stock list for a 200, unless they're tiny size. although it'd be neat to watch. got pictures?

I lived on Kauai for 1 year and dove almost daily...this was in 88-89...the only thing that has ever freaked me out while diving was a Titan Trigger... There was 1 in particular we saw often...This beast was a solid 25 inches long and wider than a bowling ball...he had a full-set of teeth like a 13 year old kid...and was insanely aggressive...he would chase us anytime we got anywhere near his territory- which seemed to be in different area daily...a scary, scary fish in the wild...I understand the comment about beating it off with a camera rig...been there...good thing they grow slow...but like Titantv and his "Nacho Experiment" I really want a mature specimin in my tanks...and may keep mine solo in the 250 once my big tank arrives...

You think? I had a titan trigger chase me for 100 yards; it kept trying to bite me (have you seen its teeth?) and I had to beat it off with a camera rig. It eventually gave up. Lucky me!
Ok, does it make me a bad person that I laughed at this?

To the OP, not to pile on, but until you've seen a full grown specimen (especially in its natural environment), it's hard to really imagine how massive they are.

They are suppose to get 30" so no your 24" wide tank isn't big enough. Not to mention that it would probably kill all of your other fish by the time it got to 8".
