Yikes!

Crocea normally have well rounded edges on their mantle. There are instances where some areas might appear a bit ruffled (sometimes when overextending), but to me, that clam is beyond the early stage of PM, as the edge is ruffled all around. Some are even folded over already

interesting, my crocea doesn't look like that, but it does when there is too much flow in my tank.

I dont think that photo is undoctored. I think they purposefully made the edge of the mantle look undulated to show is as a flowing, undulating soft tissue.

the color does look photoshopped but if you look at the edge of the mantle you can see a few spots that are starting to curl upwards
