Whatever it is I am sure the price is disgusting. It probably didnt cost them any more than the usual lobo, trach,acan or micro, but just ended up in a shipment and then the name maxima gets slapped on it along with a hefty price tag.

It is very pretty, nice colors and all. I notice they said it has been in their system for a year. I wonder if it has grown at all, does not seem to have any more polyps developing or anything.

I just saw a nice coral and wanted to share.
Hey, if I owned that piece and could get a huge amount, I would too.
Noone forces ANY of us to buy anything.
We do it of our own volition.

Isn't this the same "maxima" that was up for sale a few months ago? If so it was $1500 IIRC and marked as sold... If it is, I guess they never really sold it and decided they wanted some attention again <shrugs>
