WTB cheap 48" floresent fixture 4 FW

looking for a fixture for a friend, she has a 55g freshwater tank going up but has no light. single bulb or double is fine. i had one but gave it away some time ago.

Does the tank already have tops? I have some lights that fit on those plastic top thingy's, 2 sets of them that I'll never use...

i think she might have versa tops, not sure. i'll ask and post an anwer here

Well, if I woulda realized what "versa tops" were, I woulda told ya that it doesn't matter, lol I have those too and I just set the fixture directly on the glass, it's never done any harm and they don't get hot at all... so they'd work, they're 2 24" lights...

I may have one or 2 laying sround you could have. It's just the normal strip light. Let me know

I'v got a pretty nice one. I was about tto pitch it last night but haven't got that far yet. You can have it.

wow thanks guys! well i don't really have a preference because its not for me but i'm sure she'll accept what ever she can get. if any of you guys want to go through the trouble of bringing it to the xmas party, it'll be much appriciated.. = )
