WTB fuge light and algea

I was just given a CPR fuge for my 20L...i dont know what would be the best to light it...any suggestions? ALso, i am new to fuges so i dont really know what to put in the blasted thing...i got it as a bday gift, so i wasnt prepared for it. Suggestions are welcome!!

IMO, check with Rod (Rods Reef). He gave me some good ideas on setting mine up, and even set me up with some macro. Great guy, and really knows his stuff.

I personally use a Power Compact Flood Light from Home Depot. Works like a charm.

I also have some chaeto you can have.

I live on the North Side. Addison and Kedzie.

you think that this light would penetrate 12 in of water that well?? thats the depth of the fuge. And i will def take you up on the cheato when i can get my things situated here.

My depth is about 12" also. Chaeto doesn't need all that much light to grow. Lots of people use this type of light for their fuge.

Yep, that is the light I was talking about. However, I couldn't find it anymore. I didn't realize that was a special order now.

So I had to go to a different PC flood light and it worked well too.

PM me when you need some Chaeto.
