XL Gigantea

I have yet to fed him and i dont plan on doing so until he has gotten comfy in his position, what would you recommend for feeding?

I was thinking maybe once per week vitamin enriched crabs or haddock fillet?

What is he doing when he does that?
is it just the reaction to the lights or something i should be spooked by?

Too much vitamin can be toxic. I would not add vitamin to the food. Anemone do not eat crab too well. I would use a variety of fish. Just make sure that they are not smelly (spoiled). I feed my anemone various sea food. Make sure that no additive or preservative added to the food to keep it fresh which is a problem in some shrimps.
Haddoni are voracious eater and will eat almost any sea food, not to mention some fishes in your tank.

i might just go and catch some cod or haddock for it.
Well the only fish in my tank right now are very old molly pair..and the two crazy clownfish i just got, molly is old and about to die so them being eaten aint big loss but i think they now know what anemones are as they have been stung couple of times by rock anemones and minimaxi.

How often are you feeding yours?

I feed mine whenever, which is about once very month or none in 6 months. I don't want my anemones to grow. I do have a few Gigantea that are smaller than others and I feed them more often. I have a new Gigantea that is 1.5 inches and I feed him every other day, and squirt some mysis and fish food on him every day when I feed the fish. He is growing fast. Was only about 1.5 inches a month ago and now almost 3 inches

Ye,those 2 mollys i had..now there is only one i guess that she is happy enough to eat :)
That molly was old and bent from age..

Happy new year. It was about 1 year ago when you last posted on this Haddoni. How is he now and how is your experience with Haddoni and Saddleback clowns?

Definitely a haddoni. The last one I got came from Petco of all places and turned light blue. I've had it for six months with no problems a some growth under leds.
