Anybody getting any cool tank related presents this year? I got a 12g Oceanic nano for my birthday. I am going to try all open brain type corals. My fish wish list is a pair of Yasha Hashe gobies with shrimp, four or five barnacle blennies, a pair of regular firefish, and a sunburst anthias.
 
I have a Tunze Wave Box under the tree:D

I doubt this counts but I bought my self a 1/4hp Tradewinds Chiller with a dual stage controller and a Blueline 55 to run it.

Stephen I still have the Squirt. I have been having problems with it lately. The drum has been locking up inside the housing. I spent about an hour or so over several phone calls last week with the owner of the company trying to get it fixed. In short he was a real nice guy and has sent me new parts at no charge to try and get this thing running properly again. I am going to have to wait and see how the new parts work out. I havn't had the opportunity or time yet to get my chiller installed so the OM Unit is still plumbed into my system. I still havn't decided what to do with it yet. Wouldn't be right to pass along something that wasn't in good working order anyways. If I decide to get rid of it you will get first shot at it, assuming I get it working poroperly. I believe there is an issue with the drum and lid, Paul the owner of OM has shipped me a new lid and drum and should be here this week. Once I get the parts it will take a while to see if that is gonna be the fix it needs.

It looks like I'm going to have a 36" 6 bulb Tek fixture under the tree :D

How are things at the beach these days?
 
Besides being hazed by the CPA firm I work with, pretty good actually. They keep sending me on out of town jobs since I'm A) single, B) living alone at the moment, and C) have no kids. So for the past 2 months, all but 1 week has been spent sleeping in hotels around VA (except for the weekends).

On the other hand, I've got my own place and I'm engaged. So besides work, life is going pretty well at the moment! :D
 
Yup, the very same :)

I've also reeled her Dad into the hobby. We're setting up a 60 gallon vivarium for his office to hold some poison dart frogs, and he may set up a saltwater tank as well. I think he's got the bug.
 
hey you can always teach old dogs new tricks yes jason long time no talk glad to hear everything is going great in your life hope it stays that way when you comeing bach to the beach?

Well, in a moment of weakness one night last week, I decided to treat myself to a Reefer Madness order. I'm blaming it on pain and lack of sleep. Or was it all the painkillers? I don't even remember. LOL

This is an Ice Blue Chalice frag. It looks a little purple in this pic.

They also threw in a frag of either a Mycedium or a Purple Chalice of sorts. Its an edge frag that was receded a little. It seems to be holding color though. If it looks like its going to recover, I'll get a pic of it.
 
I don't know tom, that thing is pretty ugly . Maybe I should hold on to it to see if it gets any nicer ;)
