I don't know tom, that thing is pretty ugly . Maybe I should hold on to it to see if it gets any nicer ;)

Ugly is why I bought it. I felt it needed to be rescued. I'll try to make it pretty again. hahaha

Stephen,
The painkillers are just about useless for the pain. They do at least knock me out (if I take enough). But if I move even the slightest bit wrong and I am awakened by the worst pain I've ever felt. Its the numb left foot that really gives me trouble. I can't feel uneven ground when I'm hobbling around and usually wind up rolling my ankle or busting my butt because there's no reflex there to help keep my balance. I go to the neuro-surgeon Thursday for a steroid injection into the disc. The doctors are hoping I can avoid surgery. Honestly, they haven't sounded very convincing, but if it'll buy me some relief, then I'm game.

As soon as I can clean the glass and do a real water change again, I'll get some pics. It took me 3 hours to do a 5 gallon water change Saturday afternoon. The injection usually takes 3-5 days to work. So hopefully by Christmas I'll be getting better.
