I had a question on quarantine. It seemed that you put your fish into your DT right away, without quarantining. Do you have a belief about quarantine/not to quarantine? I only ask because at first I didn't quarantine either, but now I do after an outbreak of ICK (not wishing anything bad on your tank).
I really prefer to quarantine fish and corals whenever I can. However, I had 8 fish come in and one 14g cube full of saltwater. I had a feeling that was doomed from the start, so they were added directly to the tank.
As of yesterday, I counted all 8 anthias swimming.
Oh, I have no idea. Maybe LiveAquaria can look up my order and answer that one. I ordered based on price. They were the ones on sale.
I have to say I just :inlove: these fish in my reef. The one with pop-eye seems to be improving, but she may have some issues as another female was really harassing her this evening. That's gotta slow down the healing process. These were not small fish either, but fortunately my reef is big enough to give them a home.
All 8 are still accounted for, and the one with pop eye is cured. I'm very happy with how this order went and how the livestock did, and will be adding a page to my site about it.
It looks like Live Aquaria is off the hook about that 14 day guarantee now.
Wow, anthias are looking great, especially the male. I guess Live Aquaria are very confident about their livestock, that's why they throw out that 14 days guarantee thing.
The Anthias look amazing in your tank and we are glad that the pop eye has cleared up. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to provide excellent care for all of these fish. Thank you for sharing the additional pictures of these beautiful fish.

They really are stunning, and I :inlove: them. I couldn't get the camera to focus on their little bodies because they were swimming so fast in anticipation of getting some food.
No, these fish arrived in very healthy condition. I've quarantined Anthias in the past, and lost a fish day after day. I decided with this particular species, they have to go in my reef as soon as they arrive.
