Yellow Clown Goby and SPS

Been doing some research on this little guy and getting mixed feedback, some of the threads I found were from 06 and 08 so I wanted to see if people have had more recent experiences keeping this fish in reef tanks that have SPS. I just got some nice frags and wouldnt want him munching on them.

Only imperical evidence I found was a research paper that showed stomach contents of clown gobies and it was like 99% coral polyps. But it didnt say if it was the green or yellow or citron, and I have also read experiences of people keeping them in SPS tanks and not having problems.

So what have you guys experienced?

I had a yellow clown goby (the small, bright solid yellow one) in my 36g bow reef and never had a problem with him munching on my corals. Birdsnest, horn, rics, candy's, xenias, polyps, etc...

He decided to pull a houdini one day... Never saw him again... Such a cool, vibrant fish. Always out perched somewhere. Easy to spot and fun to watch. Waiting on another to come in as we speak.

I have an okinawe that was in a sps system on its own and it stripped a few frags. I don't have any sps and its been a great little guy with what I do have.

Most of what I have read is that they strip the polyps to create a spawning area. Its also been shown that the greens (histrio) are beneficial to coral health as they keep away algaes. I think I also read some corals release a hormone to attract them when they are under attack from algae.
