Yellow Seabae Anemone question

Woke up this morning to see my yellow Seanad anemone looking like this. We've had it about a month now, it never has attached to anything, and has been losing its vibrant yellow color. Today, it's shriveked and a hope ice never seen before. Probable a dumb question, but is it dead or dying??? First one we've owned.

Yellow means it was dyed. It was, in fact, dying before you ever bought it. I would remove it before it pollutes your tank and takes other critters with it. I also would find another LFS.

W/out seeing pics hard to say for sure, but usually when I hear vibrant yellow sebae I'm assuming a dyed or bleached crispa, which can be challenging to bring back to health.

There are yellow Malu's, which are the other of the 2 types of anemone commonly called sebae, but I don't see those very often, so best guess from here sight unseen an unhealthy crispa.

Both require a sand bed and an established tank w/ stable params, maybe give some more info on tank, params, time running...
