Yellow Spotted Scorpionfish

Regarding S. cyanostigma aka yellow spotted scorpionfish, has anyone kept it in a reef tank?

It supposedly maxes out at 8-10cm. Just wondering how big the fish are it can eat?

Also, is it an ambush predator or a fast moving hunter?

Look forward to your input,

Thanks

I do and i love them not aggressive at all infact quite reclusive i can go months without seeing them, theyre usually pretty easy to feed most come in around 3 or 4 cms and they grow slow never hassel any fish and i think they are a great alternative to a flame hawk....

Thanks for your feedback.

I read they often make their home in pocci - has this been your experience? If so, do they venture far from it?

I agree they'd be a great substitute for flame Hawks.

I'm a tad worried about some very small fish I have like priolepsis nocturna. Admittedly some of these don't venture much beyond the rock work, others are free swimming. Do you think these would be ok?

They dont tend to host poccis in aquariums to be honest i dont know where mine hides, as for eating fish id be suprised... They would heve to be tiny fish my guys eat frozen brine...

Had one for a few months. Very secretive usually hanging off a ledge like batman. I returned bit to the list as I feared getting poked by it accidentally. Cool fish though, fed on mysis
