Hello all,

So for the first time ever since I've had my salt water tank I can tell you I am pretty excited to experience seeing a couple of my fish laying eggs and seeing it. For as many years as I have had my clowns they have never laid eggs on a PCP pipe I put in the tank for them or at least havent seen them lay any eggs. But my question is. What size take do I need for the fry to grow them out and what necessities would I need in there grow out tank, besides food?

Not only are my clowns laying eggs but my Banggai Cardinalfish has laid eggs twice in the past 5 weeks. The first batch he let go of the eggs early.

I wanted to post 2 pictures. But this is what I have left since they laid there eggs on Thursday. You can see there eyes and there are more on the top of the pipe. Not that many of corse since ther in a community tank, but I think they have lasted pretty long.

This looks like it was their first time. It is kind of normal that the first batch of eggs is small and not many make it to the end. After a while this should improve

I raised my first two anemonefish (A. melanopus) in a 5 liter plastic tank that I had hanged into the parents tank.

How did you have it hanging into your mother tank? Do you have any pictures?
