I was thinking of some yellow clown gobies...

I was totally gonna suggest some yellow clown gobys. I just didn't know if you were gonna keep sps.:)

Yeah I'm looking to show rapid growth so softies are in and SPS are out.

Alright, I think the lights might be a while to come... Design is giving me issues. Here's some pics with the sand now. :)

calvin,

are you going to leave the wires set-up hanging there like that or you are plannig to cover them when you have the lighting?

LoL Kase ... we were just brainstorming that earlier.

It's definitely not going to be left all sloppy like that ... I'll leave the rest of the explanation to Eric.

No, that was mearly to get the tank up and cycling... I'll be building a cabinet to cover the supports and hide everything. Now I just need to find time to get it built...

Inspiring. Definately hide those ruddy wires! Punch a hole in the plaster board behind and on top of the tank that you can run lights, and pumps off of and then run the wires down the wall and out the bottom.

Beautiful set up though.

I'll get everything hidden but it won't be through the wall... My wife would kill me. :)

kinda been lurking for a week or two here. guess it is time to come out and say hi, but anyway...

i love the design of your tank. it looks wonderful and i am looking forward to seeing what kind of cabinet you will put under it :)

So is this a DIY for the average joe, or not? I love the design. If you was to sell something like this, what would you ask?
