ive been looking in every book i have, and cant find anything lke this...started as a little gray portuberance un some corallites, after that coralites become white and at last the tissue has lost in that area, but it doesnt spread for all over the coral, only developed in the corallites that seem to be affected....any idea???

I had the same problem awhile back. Couldn't figure it out so I did a few 50% water changes and eventually it came back.

i did a cuple of water changes and see no change in the coral...

it doesnt get worst so im not worried...

i guess its some kind of bacterial or fungus infection just in some corallites...i was thinking in a lugols bath, but the piece its well fixed to the rock...

any advice will be fine...

Ive had something very similar happen before. when my austera did it it also threw out mesenterial filaments and eventually spread to the point I had to cut it up. Happened to two different colonies of the same coral in different parts of the tank at the same time. I saved most of it in many pieces

by the time I had to cut it up it was going down the arms much like your pic is

cant tell ya why unfortunately
