Young Berlin SPS junky with new tank!

Please post some photos of the corals without too much blue look. Perhaps turn off some of the Blue+ tubes? I owuld like to see the natural colour of the corals. The videos are nice, but the overall blue cast prevents seeing the actual colour very well.

Thank you. :)

no Sahin,

I take the video at the evening and 2 white bulbs are off! So its 1:1 4blueSpecial and 4 blue+

That combination is realy nice!!! I will put one blue+ more in one year, at the moment I want more growth, later I want only color ;)

Hey guys,

I want to have more watermovement in my tank

so I want to put my Tunze Streams out and buy VorTech MP´s!!!

My question is, what VorTech should I use..

MP20, MP40?

I think two MP40 are perfekt right?

My tank 140g (1 m x 0,60 m(high) x 0,90 )

Thanks for your help!

Hi there my friend. The MP20 is no longer in production...spare parts might be hard to find in a year or two. I could either go with A tunze and MP20 or two MP10's in my own tank and I went with the MP10's because of parts availability of the MP20.

For your tank I would go with 2 MP40's if you can finance it.

Why are you getting rid of your Tunzes?

I like my Vortechs, but one thing I miss is being able to direct the flow...of course the Vortechs have very wide and dispersed flow, but still, being able to direct the flow is a dream vortech :lolspin:

If I were you, I'd get one Vortech MP40 and try that first. Keep hold of your Tunze, you might find with the addition of the MP40 and keeping your Tunzes you might have enough flow.

When my SPS grow out more I will need more flow and I think I will go for a Tunze pump, not a Vortech.

Hey Sahin! Thanks for your answer!!!

I will try to get a 40W... and will add it to the tank... then I will see what the flow will do!

Thank you :)

Hey guys,

can you help me plssssss:sad2:

******************
2x MP40 W es
******************
2x MP10W es
or
3x MP10W es
******************

I don´t know?!?!?!:uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3:

The MP20W doesn´t exist?

Thanks for your help!

2xMP40 would do well in your tank, I have 2 in my 75g and it creates great flow using reef crest anti-sync mode.

I think so too!!! :crazy1::crazy1:

but i dont know... because I dont see the vortech´s in real life:angryfire:

If two MP10's in my 47G can give really good flow, then two MP40's in a 75G (which isnt that much bigger than my 47G) should provide excellent water flow.

I'm using 2xMP40, 2x6055, 1x6025 and finally a 6085. MP40 are used to create random flow whilst the tunzes are used to direct flow where it needs most

yeah thats the right way :thumbsup: I will do the same... you put one 6055 on the perfekt point in the tank :)
I have also 2 6055 and 3 6025! I will add one 6055! And then I will see, what the corals do..

Sorry, I'll let others with bigger tanks make their suggestions.

:debi: sahinn... I like your suggestions!!!!:thumbsup:

Yea, just for info you can modify the 6025 to a flow rate of a 6045.

I think your corals will love it

I know it, but i hate the Tunze´s!!!:thumbdown:headwalls: The look is very baadddd

:headwalls::headwalls:
