Hello, I would like to hear what your favorite fish is that is 4 inches or smaller. Please limit your favorite(s) to fish you keep or have kept.

Mine would have to be my first salty fish, rainfordi's goby.

Mine would have to be the green clown goby, I see them called a million other things but thats what Ive always known them by.

tailspot blenny - what a little clown, he has taken to getting a rise out of the Randall goby by sitting by the burrow entrances & swimming closer & closer until the goby has enough & comes towards him lol

Pinkstreaked wrasse! I love how they buzz around the tank, always so inquisitive. Whilst shy at first they can become quite the character.

Hmmm
Hybrid Centropyge debelius x C. multicolor would be pretty sweet. Any pretty/rare dwarf angelfish and the candy basslet would be my favs

Designer clowns, my fave would be my black phantom or my Wyoming whites.
But otherwise I also love my tailspot blenny, so much personality.

mandarin dragonets have always been one of my favorites. Their color is astonishing and have a lot of personality. They're always on the prowl hunting for copepods. They have a psychedelic pattern to them as well which really amazes me. Great fish if you have the proper tank setup with an ample supply of pods and limit other predatory fish so it gets the right nutrient. Good luck with your pick!

Unfortunately, a small nano tank generally does not have enough pods to keep a mandarin happy. Unless you can find one eating regular fish food, I wouldn't put one in a nano.

Tailspot is a good one(mine umped :( ) but someone already took that. I'll vote fot the yellow clown goby. A bit hard to get eating, but once acclimated does very well. Will eat pods but flakes and pellets too. Very personable and active, hopping from sps to sps. Always looks cheery and very bright yellow.
