Also - have you heard anything good or bad regarding Aquarium Pharmaceuticals PimaFix? I think that it maybe more of a scratch or cut than a parasite or fungus.

Brian with WK's old eyes it is hard to say from the picture. If it is indeed a scratch then it could be infected. I'm not familiar with Pimafix but any broad spectrum antibiotic should do. Maracyn and Maracyn-2 are two widely used brands that are commonly available. Only dose these in a hospital tank as their use in you display would create a disaster.
