this fish is pretty common...they weren't really selling here, so the importing has waned...Ornamental has in stock...

Hello

All polyzona together in one 250 gallons quarantine tank. All well no more aggressions between now. Very robust against ich. No visible dots. No scratching on rocks. Hepatus was full of dots.

I think the polyzona that killed is because I make mistakes. My recommendation for introducing several polyzona quarantine lonely without other polyzona. If they are fat and health introduce together in displaytank. They will fight each other three days extremely with using their scalpel but their robust enough to survive. After that a easy fish. No aggressions against other fish that introduced. But if I am honestly for that price I would prefer triostegus. But they get much bigger.

Any updates on your group? I just placed an order for 3 small ones for my tank

Hello,
The biggest one died in quarantine because I make mistakes. The two ones are big already and together in DT. fat healthy and no problems. 3 stayed together in 250 gallon quarantine. No problem together. Only introducing together is the problem.

Hi, introducing them together is a problem? Should I introduce them a few weeks apart into the display tank?

Different size? The smallest at first. Best possibiliti to feed them 6 weeks individually. After that introduce the smallest and then after one week the next size and so on. This fish will fight extremely each other for a few days. If they are fat and healthy no problem. No aggressions against other fish. Only polyzona fight each other.

Thank you, I asked for all small sized. The importer will get them stable and feeding for me before I take them home

So the zebras have arrived. Much larger than expected - about 4 to 5 inches.

5 pieces came in, 1 was badly scratched like he had been the losing victim of a fight. I picked the 3 that were swimming well with no scratches and dark contrast in colour between the black and white.

If they're all the same size can I introduce all 3 in my tank at the same time? Importer has them in 0.4ppm copper individually till they're feeding well.

I had bad experience. Just one survive when I add two. I think you have to feed them very well for a couple of weeks until they are fat and healthy to survive the stress of the first two days. Dejong had 3 in big coral tank. Size is about 15 meter to 2 meter to 0.2 meter and one killed by an other!

Not a problem to keep them separately and feed well. So the best way is still one at a time? What order to introduce if all are the same size?

When feed well and all at same size I think introduce together after a few weeks is the best way

Different size start with the smallest end with the biggest during a period of a week after introducing a new one

Thank you! They are all the same size and have been feeding at supplier's place for a week. I hope to have success in keeping a trio
