Well, they were listed and sold for $750 each minus a 10% holiday discount.
I bought another one he had along with a couple of other tangs that'll hopefully arrive safely tomorrow. I think Kevin may have one more small Zebra if one of you guys are interested.

I tried to talk my wife into the little one, but I would have had to buy her a purse of equivalent value (and she had one picked out!). I've got to learn not to show her the entire web page, just the pic. lol.

Convicts are insanely common around the Pacific, but the zebras are isolated to Mauritius (so far) and are not as common as convicts (they have both, and convicts are crazy common) So the prices are fair IMO. Its very expensive to ship out of Mauritius to anywhere (especially US) so prices/fees get tacked on. They are awesome tangs and are pretty hardy.

After seeing the wholesale price of these fish, I would have to agree. $750 is a fair price for a zebra. I know they resemble a convict, but after seeing one in person, the two are worlds apart....

I have no doubt he can find one. I know SDC has atleast 1 right now, so if all else fails have either him or your LFS go through them. I've debated back and forth on whether to order one for myself or not, they are truely stunning.
