honestly, I agree with your comments mostly ....
your tank is a good example of it

but I think you use pellets and or vodka dosing as well ? which makes it a bacterioplankton system same as zeovit ?
Zeovit is kinda like cheating

I think I have posted this before as well ... other methods, work just as good in lowering nutritions, zeovit just gets there simpler. about the corals coloring supplements though ... honestly I like trying everything, and havent found anything quite like it yet. [but every tank is different so I could be wrong ]
about that green/yellow piece ... I really dont know

I got it from Ken at SUM ... it was a wild smaller piece. grows kinda fast, but not as fast as stags. here are more pics under full lighting [I use 5 coral light, 4 blue and 1 fiji purple. all KZ, 10x80W T5]

HEre it is about 8 months ago, when I first picked it up.
I really dont know if its yellow, or green lol I just like the colouring of it as its kinda fluorescent colored. according to Frick its a Acropora abrolhosensis.
oh and I am not good at white balance, so could be me
