Zoa's and Amphipods

You can temporarily take out the mantis, dose interceptor to take out the pods and do a water change and run carbon. once everything is done place mantis back in.

I was going to suggest just getting a wrasse but your have a mantis. so thats a big problem.

thanks so much! so how long would the whole process take about? i run carbon anyways but i guess i should make sure to use new carbon. and should i reacclimate the mantis before putting it back in, just in case?

I think you can search RC for interceptor useage. Its really used to take out red bugs but it also kills all inverts ( pods, shrimps, crabs etc ) most of the time. read more about it on RC

You are goig to want to do a triple dose of interceptor (based on standard red bug dosages)if you want to put a good dent in these monster sized amphipods.

luckily there doesn't seem to be many monster sized ones, but definitely a bunch of juveniles. over what period should i do the multiple dosages, i really want to limit the amount of stress to mantis especially because i think he might be getting ready to molt. i might have to wait till after he does
