I just called my nearest Petco, and they said that they didn't have any 30 gallon cubes in stock. I called another store and they said that only the "All-Glass" brand aquariums are on sale and "Oceanic" aquariums are not a part of this sale. Oh well...

Just like any other large chains, different stores carry different stock depending on region, distributors, buyers...

I picked up a 40 gal tank for $40 its 36x18x17, all they have are 20L 20H 29 40 and 55

If you look at the ad, it doesn't state that it applies to "AGA Aquariums Only"...........just says that "All 20 to 55 gallon glass aquariums." & "Excludes special or EZ orders, bowfronts, terrariums and boxed kits. In-stock items only. Offer valid 8/20/06 - 8/26/06"..........doesn't say anything about Oceanic cubes...................if you happen to find a Petco w/ a Oceanic cube, take the ad in with you & have them show you where it says "Oceanic not included"...............if they won't sell you one for $30, ask for the manager.......................if the manager still won't sell you one, tell them in a firm voice loud enough that a few customers will hear "I'm going to be contacting your corporate office along w/ the BBB for false advertising."...............May work, may not.........I'll let you know how well it works in the Whittier store tomorrow.........

i belive on the paper circular it states only all glass aquarium brand. I could be wrong though, I did ask if i could get the cube shaped one, they said no its only for the all glass aquarium brand.

I shall try to exercise my consumer rights later today. I haven't raised my voice in a store in some time, so why not give it a shot today, right guys? Hahaha... Will let you guys know if it works. I'll tell you this much, I'm gonna buy a few of them if they succumb to my loud outburst! Don't worry, I will pass on the savings to fellow reefers.

One of my local club members picked up a Oceanic cube on this sale, so at least in the SF Bay Area, you can get both (AGA and Oceanic) via this sale. Being their both owned by the same corperation, makes senseto me that they'd be both on sale.

IF the add doesn't say it, the law is on your side. Bait and switch is against the law, at least in CA All the pet stores I've worked at understood that one all to well. If we had a miss print of a price either in the store, or in an add, and a customer called us on it, 100% of the time the customer got that price. What's a few dollars, compaired to a multi thousand dollar lawsuit when said and done.
