1 rbta split into 5

i had this humongous red bubble tip that split into 5 this past week. it's been crazy. my nephew spotted 2 in the back on the tank and i spotted 3 on another rock! wow, i didn't think it would split that many times in 1 week

Wow that's awesome. I've never heard of one splitting that many times that fast.

One of my friend's a the lfs was telling me how his rbta split one morning into two. Then a couple days later each one split into two again. Then several days past by and each split again and they kept doing this until they split themselves out of existence. lol

Must be going around. my large one just split into 3 at the same time, and couple of days after spawning.

I had one split into 4 all at once. Unfortunately I lost the other 3 when I moved/ upgraded to a larger tank. I am hoping to get at least one of my current bta 's to split again.

I have had that happen myself but with bubble tipped anemones. Its pretty cool if the parameters are just right they will split like crazy.

Keep in mind, some divide when the parameters are way off. It is a survival mechanism. "Ah, these conditions are terrible. You go left, I go right, hopefully at least one of us make it."
