"Even a bad skimmer is a good one"
For my 10 gallon the LFS has offered me a Skilter, HOB Filter/Skimmer. It's 50 bucks, the same price as a aqua clear, should I go for it or get a aqua clear and do a ref mod?

Also, what kinda of livestock would a 10 gallon support? I would like a Jawfish and a clown

well it really depends on what you want. just remeber a skimmer takes protien and suff out of the water to support addtional fish. a fuge will export nutirents and grow pods. IMO the aqua clear fuge would be the better option, i can guarentee it will give more flow then that 50$ skimmer and it will probbably work better at removing exess nutirents then that cheap-o skimmer.

I agree. And yes 2 fish will b fine in a 10g.

someone gave me a skilter for my 10 gallon so I just made a fuge out of it!! the flow is fine for that while the skimmer part sucks anyways!!!
