1000 Gallon Build- Here we go- Lots of Pictures

For those without a lot of photobucket experience,

clicking on any of the pics place holders will open a new browser window and take you to his photobucket page, where all the pics are displayed.

If you're loading into RC to store your photos then only members who are logged in can see your images, and RC wont let you control image size. Better just to contact Photobucket directly to see what the problem with the existing images is.

Yup, worked for me.

Nice rock placement. Would the whole rock scape come toppling down if it was higher on the overflow to cover it more?

Love your build! Can't to see it filled in with fish and coral!

Thanks! Me too. Water goes in to,or row.

You can also try Flickr.com. You get free uploads to a certain size (1TB)? I can't remember how much, but I have used it for many years and upgraded to their yearly plan (not a requirement to use their service).

I just want to transfer the 250 or so photos to another site. However I just may have to

Just download Tapatalk for your phone and add reef central. Then you literally just click on photos in your gallery to load the photo into the actual post. No links to other websites like photobucket etc, it's just there for everyone to see

Does its fully load the images or does it pull off your cell? Meaning your cell is acting like a server?

Yes- click on the photos for a few days while my bandwidth reloads.

There is no problem. Just exceeded bandwidth foe the month. Should reset in a few days.

No that's the plan, to cover the center overflow more. I'm just needing more rock. Also want to place my Powerheads and wave boxes and then aqua scale around it. Rock work really did turn out nice.

Google drive? Loads of free photo sharing sites online too

Possibility for the future for sure.

So I will eventually get an apex. Right now I literally have no time to go apex shopping for 3-4 weeks. Work is crazy busy and then we have a ton of family visiting. So in the meanwhile, I thought I would set up an eco tech live account to control the radio show and eventually with over to the apex for full automation after things settle down a bit. Does anyone know if you had to physically plug in the lights into the computer to activate them or is this all done wirelessly?

Btw- lights are in and installed but no turned on yet. Water gets delivered tomorrow. Fish so after.

its all done wirelessly if you have the reeflink.

If you do not have a reeflink, then yes you would have to plug them in. The whole process shouldn't take you more than an hour to get all of them on the same cycle. Once you have the layout setup on ecosmartlive it's very easy to get it up and running or make any changes. Good luck!

If you know you're gonna end up with an Apex, just plug them in and skip the reeflink for now. Set them to one of the pre-programmed light profiles (I like radiant color) and a 8-12 hour cycle and just forget about em until the Apex shopping trip is made!

Ooh- didn't know that was an option. Ok that makes sense. I don't want to buy reef link if I'm eventually gonna get Apex.

Good call. Thank you.

Got all the lights on. Holy cow- they are fantastic. When you click or adjust one, all 6 adjust. best lights ever! I still haven't fixed the band width issue but just click on the image if it doesnt show up. it will take you to photo bucket for the image:

Here are the lights and ballasts in the canopy:

Here is a view from the street into the home with the lights on. You can see the glow of the tank:

And this is what they call the money shot!!! Lights are turned way way down in brightness. 6 lights is more than enough! I thought I would have to supplement with some cannons. No way jose!

BTW- ecosmartlive sucks! connection manager wont download. Its slowing my computer down. what a piece of crap! should have listened to you guys and just stuck with apex.I figured why not just give it a shot. no success.

Are you using internet explorer as the browser?

when I tried to install the connection manager- it said there was an error during install- its probably something to do with that but I don't know what the heck the error is.

Gotcha. I've emailed support but Ill likely just deal with manual switching for now- one radion will control all 6 so I can just turn on and off for a bit till I have a chance to install the apex.
