120g wallet drainer

I've been watching your thread since the start and I gotta say it looks pretty darn cool. Whenever I get a house, I'd like to do an in-wall system from the garage into the living room. You've definately given me some unique ideas. Thanks and Good Luck.

Better pix of that build are necessary when you get the chance.

Haha. My grandfather has a canon digital SLR i can borrow. When i get a chance i'll borrow it, get some better lighting down here and take some real pics. and if i can i'll have someone else take the pictures for me.

Scott I go with the K. 4 I have one in my 120 along with 2 mj1200 mods. I want to get another k. 4 so far i'm happy with it. got mine from that pet place. and It arrive the next day!!:eek1:
pm Cindy and Joe at jcaquatics they might be able to get them for you.

I wasn't so much being critical of your pictures, as I was being interested in seeing your finished product ;)

Chuck, i ended up ordering 2 koralia 4's. They worked out great. I need to eventually get a wavemaker or hopefully a wavebox to get some more random flow. And Larry "Finished" is a strong word. I don't know if it will ever be finished, but after a little aquascaping and some more life in it i'll call it "temporarily acceptable".

ok so i just got back from Mike's house and loaded my tank up with coral. I just randomly placed everything to get it in the tank, over the next few days i'll move everything around. Pictures were takin with a canon digital rebel, actinics on and a flash. one day i'll play with lighting and get some better pics, but taking pictures bores me so i'm putting it off.

Just an update 5 months later. I used a good camera this time, but I dont know what i'm doing. I have about 200 blurry pictures of whats supposed to be a mystery wrasse.

Heres a pic of the whole tank

Hows the wave box treating you im thinking about putting one in a 125

its a non RR tank so im going to have to work with it but i think it would do good.

let me know how the box is doing for you

I love the wavebox. I was worried about it sloshing water into the overflow but it's dead quiet. It's still hard to justify the price, especially since i needed the magnet holders which cost me another 80, and i'm poor. But if you have the money go for it.

nope. i kinda thought it was just red coralline because it's not slimy like cyano and it grows in little spots like coralline.

I ran 1.5" pipe all the way to the top and my pump is a little oversized. But i have too much flow through the tank, i had to add ball valves onthe loc-line to slowdown the flow through the sump. honestly the way i set upthe return i think there is barely any head pressure.

what's with the undersized reflectors on the t5's? i might have extra 4 footers laying around somewhere

ok i have very few critters as of now. But i just got my lights, here are a few pics. once i get the doors on i'll borrow my moms camera and take some good pictures.

Chuck i tried to take a pic of the light rack but it's not the best. the lumenarcs ride on angle iron and the t5 are bolted to the flat strips on the outside.

Scott, in your second picture, how did you attach the chains to the top of the canopy?
