130 X 36 x 36 inbound...any suggestions?

haha dont worry, bandits are showing up alot more than before now for some reason, I am sure you can find another soon.

that was partially my thinking as well but still....ugh, lol...but they are psyched about having her...:sad1::sad2::sad1::sad2::sad1::sad1::sad2::sad1::sad1:....lol...

How could you split up a pair? You are crazy, I know you make quick decisions when it comes to buying fish but you should never make a quick decision when selling a fish

it was easy, remember, I did not obtain them as a pair...
on the contrary, everything I add is very well-planned and thought-out...nothing quick about them except for actually pulling the trig when they are finally avail...when you do things quick and add livestock spontaneously, imo, you are courting disaster..

I was referring to the jocs you bought. It seemed like buying 4 was kind of an impulse buy. I guess I was wrong on that.

I am still sad to hear about you selling the bandit as I love the fish and probably going to be waiting a little while to get my hands on one

after Frank bred them in 2006 I knew I wanted to try a harem but Jocs, esp tiny, are not readily avail...this has been a great year for them...lol, this plan was 7 years in the making...

you asked about breeding clarions....
hmmmm, well the size of a clarion does not allow for that possibility in my tanks but in the pool, if that becomes a reality, yes that is a thought along with a few other fish...would love to..

Right after I wrote that comment I realized that clarions would need a larger aquarium then your current one and that is why I edited that point out. Maybe in 5 years when you realize that your family barely uses your pool and you decide to turn that into the greatest aquarium in the world, then you can get the clarion harem.

I didnt see your edit until after I sent... yeah, you need a big tank to breed large angels..

my fear is that the pool may be used a lot more in the coming years as the young ones grow-up...

I think the answer is obvious here, you need a second pool.

Truth be told, with the prices that Clarions demand, you could probably pay for the pool pretty quickly.

Only if successful, lol...
I live on the largest lake in the state and have already figured out how much salt I need to convert it to saltwater, lol....

I grew up without a pool or a lake, and I say you're on the fringe of spoiling the youngsters with both a pool and a lake, and this action could come back to bite you. I think for the sake of proper childhood development you should seriously consider converting the pool ASAP. Think about the children, and their future!

Now how many gallons is your new tank going to be?:)
