I need some help here.I'm going to start building a 175 gal breeder system this week.I have 6 20 gal tall tanks and a 55 gal sump/holding tank/refug.I'm really having a hard time trying to find out what size pump will i need for this system.I would like to have 1 pump right up the middle of the 6 20 gal tanks and tee off and each tank will have its own shut off to coltroll the water for each tank.I have talked to a few poeple and the say a 1200GPH pump will work.The pump will have about 4 foot of head pressure on it.Do i need to go bigger i'm thinking 1500GPH.any help will be great.
