sweet, prob too late... but since you have a router i would've knocked down the edges to give it a decorative look...maybe even match the crown molding a bit. Agree, one less thing to lose sleep over.

Oh that's about as good as my router work gets lol!

Its hard to tell in the picture but I did at least cut the front at a 45 degree angle then put that step in with the router.

I'm just gonna try and make the tank so colorful no one even looks up
