180 Achilles/SPS focused tank

Well figured out some bad news today. Today was first time I've had the tank fully up and running. I tracked it periodically throughout the day with my apex fusion on my phone. Zeovit requires lights on min 10 hours a day from day 1. So I had my MH's +T5's on all day. I kept track of the temp. Started out at 77 degrees this morning, by 8pm tonight it was and still is at 81.3 degrees. This was only running 10 hours, no top on the tank, fan running non stop on the lights. So with that big of a difference, and the house was 73-74 all day, I think I'm going to need a chiller. I can't mount a fan on top of the tank and still have a lid, so my only option would be to mount it at the sump and I don't think that will be enough. Its not even summer yet. Just a warmer winter day.

So on the lookout for a chiller now. Sigh...

Got a 1/4hp Chiller from Epic Aquaria Today. I know next to nothing about this brand, but they said it worked good so giving it a shot.

Will get it hooked up soon!

Nice build. I am doing Zeovit also but without the stones. So far I have only used
Amino Acids, Coral Vitalizer, Sponge Power, Pohls Extra, and Zeospur every 7 - 10 days. But Sponge power will be your best friend.

In youtube there is a Share item. Inside there it says embed.

Copy that link and paste it inside the message. No 'picture' or anything else around it. Press goadvanced or preview post and you will see it.

Keep in mind when first posting it may be delayed for a few seconds. That is the video buffering up on your local machine.

Embedding it like that keeps the forums cleaner and just links FROM youtube.

How big are the tangs? Where'd you order them from? They're looking good

The tangs are both almost 5" I got the Achilles and Golden Angel from Divers Den and the PBT from Live Aquaria

Better video tonight, they are active, looking good so far. They ate good tonight. One more day of observation and I'll begin treatment of API General Cure for 10 days and then 30 days of CP. Hopefully the peace lasts between the PBT and my Achilles.

I know the author personally, he was on our local forum prior to taking over as a moderator on *********. We call him Dr. Fish on our local forums. He is amazing and very very knowledgable. He has helped me alot, and I've spent hours talking to him about QT procedures.
