Awesome setup and change over (from your last setup), how is the ATS doing with the water params?

I have a frag tank that is getting out of control, and a po4 reactor and de-nitrator is just not cutting it.

How do you have the screen attached? Is removal and cleaning easy?

The screen is notched to hook into the pvc but what really is holding it are the cable ties. I installed a union on the end which makes removal super easy.

Wahoo I finally have green turf algae growing on my ATS. It took a while to start about 4 weeks but hopefully away we go. I tested Nitrates last night and they are running around 20ppm. Phosphates are around .5-1ppm on the Salifert. That is a hard test to read.

I have been stirring up my sand bed 4-5 times a week and dosing the Warner Marine Coral Snow to bind up the organic detritus to feed the dendros. They seem to be liking it.

I am a little annoyed as my syringe pump was on back order and wont ship till monday. I ordered it the 20th

Update:

I just added a red gorg with white polyps which I will take pics of shortly.

I also added 2 more lights on the ATS. It is flipping bright now under the stand. I think now it will really start to suck the nutrients out as the ends of the screen were not growing as fast as the center which was getting all the light.

You say your nitrates are down around 25 ppm, that's a reduction right? Do you attribute this to the ATS?
