Nice pics! Especially the scleronephthya. That last pic on the bottom - that sponge is photosynthetic. I had it in a dark sump and it withered away, moved it into a lit tank and it started growing back. Also I exposed it to plenty of air and it didn't have a problem. I've actually seen it sold as some type of macroalgae as well.

I picked up Disto on Feb 17th. Im feeding a mixture of phyto, frozen rotifers, cyclops, and Coral Frenzy at the moment. I will have the Fauna line hopefully this week to start trying.

Watch out for that last sponge. They are known for over taking aquariums. I know of at least a dozen large aquariums nearly ruined by that stuff

No way thats crazy. I will definitely watch it. I picked up the giant sun polyp rock in today and a yellow polyp gorg.

Jason, what percentage of your feeding is phyto? I am wondering if I am feeding enough phyto with my mixture.

I mix in about 30-40ml of Phytofeast to thaw out all my frozen food and then mix with water and load it into the 120ml syringe. That gets done 2x a day. Sometimes I will do the Coral Frenzy instead since it has alot of phyto products in it.

I was just curious cause I obtained a specimen, and I should get it on Tuesday. Are you observing the clear "hair-like polyps" (gasterozooids) extending when you feed?

Did you grab the one on Live Aquaria before me Was waiting for it when Melissa at Live Aquaria told me it was going to be posted and someone was a second quicker than me when I went to pay for it.
