How about Korallen Zucht? :)

Anything I can't pronounce is not allowed either! :D

this thread is great. love the BK pic. have you thought about adding crosshatch or bluethroat triggers? or maybe pinktail, I love these triggers and like some of the angels can be reefsafe

All this talk of high end equipment has made me sick. I am now looking into a giesemann lighting system....I am really confused now.:sad2:

you will have to unsubscribe to this thread now Mark :D

I need to unsubsrcribe from Reef Central. That would be my only hope.

Mark - have you considered a deeper tank? 30" perhaps? :D playin!!!

gmatta - Yes, those triggers are beautiful, but my tank isn't big enough for those guys! And I don't need those guys knocking over all my frags :)

what do you guys think of the ATI bubble masters? are they considered knockoff BKs??? any clues on how they perform compared again em?

their names are the most similar things about them they are good skimmer with great pumps

this is Tbones build thread though, not really the place for the 500th ATI vs BK discussion.

lol, something tells me that tbone will be a little bit leniant about going off on a tangent about skimmers :D

but sure, back on track!

*edit*
"500th ATI vs BK discussion."

agreed on to the next jack

The Ati has lots of air but the design lend itself to more turbulence than the BKs. They are kind of short so less turbulence is reduced in the top of the skimmer, this is something the cones like the SM and ATB do well.

the biggest drawback to the ATI is that it is very sensitive when it is oversized for the tank the foam head can collapse easier due to the extra turbulence,

that said they are a good price but these new MSX skimmers have the same pump and are cheaper, and taller with a better bubble plate.

oh and whooooo hooo 10k chuckleheaded posts...

GSM - thanks, but no worries. I've hijacked enough threads myself :D

Ryan, to be honest, I don't know anything about BM skimmers. Have never looked into them. Sorry I couldn't be of any help :)

LOL, you know me so well! I went over to Zeovit.com to read up about BK skimmers. Seems like more usage over there.
