Bart - Sweet! Sounds like your shop caters to the "high-end" clients? U gonna get your own show on MTV, too? ;) He's got a sweet Aston Martin now, and also drives a Prius ;)

Chad - I spoke to Chris (from Proline) late Friday afternoon. He needs to confirm with Klaus the reason for the extension, but his feeling is the same - to reduce microbubbles back into the sump.

Do you feel the riser reduces performance, secondary to reduced contact time?

Picked up some new Toys yesterday :)

T-bone, I'm not real sure how that will work out??? You could run slower flow through sump...I think that would increase contact time. Looks kind of like it is going to bring the bubble column up pretty high unless they have a high turnover through the skimmer. Not too sure that is good though?? higher flow seems like it would break up the bubble column which I would think would be counter productive to having a cone shape.

Would be kind of nice if they would notify people of a design revision before you bought it. Why the revision?? To make it better or correct a problem?? I think if it were me it may of weighed on my decision to buy one in the first place.

Chad

I too would talk more about fishing than cars. :p My last good trip was out of Cabo for tuna and dorado :D

Ok Terry, I will not rib eye your t-bone.

Aaaah... kids and fishing. I can't wait til mine are old enough. I'll be pushing 40, but you gotta take the good with the bad I suppose. :)

too fly, that's about 350lbs easy. i didn't have my camera the day i caught 700+lbs 8' hammerhead last season, man i was mad since i have no way of showing proof, took 3 friends plus me to pull this guy up as he went out 250yards and after 1 hour he mad it to along the boat by then the 300lbs leader was about to be cut and there was no way for me getting him in the boat. we was not ready to catch something like this.

When I saw that little boy, I had to take the picture. I was very happy that it came out the way it did, although I would have preferred prettier water and nicer skies.

That's a shot from down by the gulf, near Port Aransas.

TooFly - what kind of fish was that?

Bart, try 663 lbs. dressed. That was on another buddy's boat. Close to three dozen trips and no giants. The one day I forget to get back to him about getting out and he lands that! Ok, breathe Paul. ;)

Damn, a 350 lb. Hammer is a big fish. A guide I fished with in Andros once saw a 14' Hammer devour a 150 lb. tarpon in two bites. He wouldn't dip his toe in the water for a good month after seeing that. These guys free dive in 60' of water and are basically fearless too.

The picture came out great Marc.

That's a giant bluefin tuna.

I wouldn't know. I never got to taste it. Actually, no one did. He had it auctioned off a couple weeks later. The largest I've landed on my boat was 78 lbs. dressed (gutted, etc.). Very delicious indeed. :smokin:

Yep, that's the one and only Super Mojo Troll. My buddy remembered him last minute and brought him onboard for the first time that trip. He's the reason for the tuna, or so the mystics believe. He gets auctioned off every season to the highest bidder and the money is donated to the Jimmy Fund I believe. I gotta say, I don't doubt the little crazy haired man's mojo. No one in these here parts dare challenge SMT's powah.

I have officially been T-boned :D What goes around, comes around! don't know what the heck you guys are talkin about :)
