Any update on live stock Terry? The BK is more than capable to handle large bioload. You can have as many fish as you want now....

No new fish. The baby clown tang I bought last week didn't make it. He was doing fine, but I woke up one morning and he was gone.

Here's my wish list:

Achilles tang
powder blue tang
male blond naso tang
tailspot blenny
female bellus angel
male watanabei angel
singapore angel
Ventralis anthias
Australian black/white Osc. clown pair

Too Fly- Thats a nice Blue, heres a pic of my boat & a nice red... sux, I was born & raised in the Tarpon capital of the world & have never caught one over 75#'s (never really tried, I'm a snook & red guy)....

Sweet ride! I love Maverick Skiffs. If I were lucky enough to live in the tarpon capital of the world, I'd definitely own one. ;) That thing must fly with the 300. You must hit 60 or so WOT.

Nice red too. I've only fished for them once, and it was too cold to get them to eat (four nights in the low 50's). I put numerous flies, sometimes right on their heads, and nothing. They just drifted past the flies like zombies. As for Tarpon, I finally landed my first one (30 lbs.) last November in Belize on a clouser. Before that, I'd been toyed with by fish in the 80-120 lb. range.

You ever land a permit?

thats suck Tbone, sorry to hear about your clown tang. i know the baby clown tang need to be along in QT for aleast 2 months before entering the main display. im pretty sure as soon you put him into display he didn't eat and was scare most of the time hanging around the corner of your display or behind tunze's.

Bart, he died while still in QT. It was weird. He was active as clowns should be and eating. Looked good when I went to bed, dead when I woke up.

Thats really sucks for your clown tang, i am sorry for your lost. I saw many at the LFS and the guys told me that the success of keeping one is about 50%, dunno if its true, but nonetheless, its not easy. Thats also a fish i would love to get, but i am afraid of his agressivity once bigger.

hopefully the tang police will not chime in :D. my friend and i told him not too has a 4" clown tang in RSM along with few other fishes. i set this system up back in Oct. for him and said be careful what you add in there, but no luck on my end .

Richard, the hard part about clown tangs is finding one that eats.

make sure he eats from your LFS next time you get one. Is he going to be the only tang in your tank?
