Might be a stupid question, but is salt really that big of a deal? Ive read that salt break down chart, so I just use coralife salt. Kinda curious, because maybe thats part of why I dont have the greatest growth with anything.

Chad - we asked Roger this already. So far, their answers are "no" due to high shipping costs. I tried to get my LFS to bring it in, and got the same answer. I guess it's not profitable after paying shipping. So far, PA and Aquarium Specialty stocks it. Aq. Specialty has it on sale right now. The buckets are 27% off!

It's funny how (questionably) 2 of the best salt (Tunze,Hawaiin Marine pro reefer) on the market are the hardest to get.

Guess I will have to go through Premium.

I'm *this* close to bringing in a pallet. We have enough members in our local club who want it to split it up.

The only negative is you gotta keep ordering em by the pallett. Unless someone at an LFS decides to stock it.

are you looking at the right salt? Tunze doesn't come in 50 lb buckets

35.2 lbs, sorry. I assumed the bucket was 50 lbs... thats even worse lol. And shipping was around $40. I was looking at the Deltec salt previously, and had in my cart, not the tunze lol.

that's expensive. you know, 1 bucket = 2 bags. shipping per bag ranges from $12-$17. I wonder why the bucket costs so much more to ship.

Just checked Aq. Specialty. Their sale on the tunze salt is over.

That bucket of Tunze wouldnt even be enough to fill my tank with. Id have to get 2. Seems like a bit much for me. I'll go with my coralife salt that hasnt done me wrong (as far as I know lol), and when its time for corals, I'll start switching to the high end baller stuff lol.

Been thinking about Amino Acids. To say this, it pains me. I am really an old school reefer and always balked at the Zeo system. I may give this a try soon even though my corals are really looking good now and the system is extremely stable. Am I stupid or what for even considering this?
